The Boston Red Sox are in the midst of a 20 game/20 day schedule, and so far they're perfect, beating the Tampa Bay Rays in Florida on Sunday, April 21 4-3 in 11 innings. The win is the Sox 3rd in a row, and moves their record to 9-13, 5 games behind Tampa Bay.
The winning run came from Christian Vazquez with a sacrifice fly plating Rafael Devers in the top of the 11th.
Xander Bogaerts drove in 2 runs in the top of the 6th, giving Boston a 3-2 lead at the time.
David Price went 5 innings for Boston, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, striking out 10 and walking 2 but got a no-decision for his efforts. Matt Barnes allowed the tying homer to Tommy Phan in the 8th.
