The Boston Red Sox lost to the Chicago White Sox on Friday night, losing 11-1 as they committed 5 errors.

Blake Sabol was called for catcher's interference twice, and Tristan Casas, Cedanne Rafaela and Josh Winckowski each committed an error.

Wilyer Abreu was 2-4 with a double.

Alex Bregman and Tristan Casas each had a double.

Kristian Campbell continued to hit, going 2-4

Boston was 1-9 with runners in scoring position.

Sean Newcomb took the loss for the Red Sox, throwing 4 innings. He allowed 6 hits, and 6 runs, although just 2 were earned because of the errors. He struck out 6 and walked 2. Josh Winckowski pitched 3.0 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 runs walking 2 and striking out 1.  Brennan Bernardino pitched the 8th inning and allowed 2 hits and 2 runs, striking out 1.
