Maybe the Red Sox just needed to leave the country?! After just scoring 4 runs in their previous 4 games, Boston shutout the Toronto Blue Jays 5-0 in Toronto, homering 3 times on Friday night.

James Paxton threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, striking out 7 and walking just 2.

Chris Martin came on and retired the final batter in the 8th via a strikeout.

Kaleb Ort pitched the 9th, striking out 1.

Jarren Duran hit a 2-run homer, his 4th of the season, in the 6th inning.

Connor Wong and David Hamilton each doubled. It was Hamilton's 1st career double.
