The Boston Red Sox won their 4th straight game, for the 1st time since April 15-19, beating the New York Yankees 4-3 at Fenway Park Saturday night.

Hunter Dobbins went 6.0 innings, picking up the win, and beating the Yankees for the 2nd time in a week. Dobbins, now 4-1, allowed just 2 hits, striking out 5 and walking 1.

Luis Guerrero allowed 1 hit and 2 runs, walking 2 as he retired 1 batter. Justin Wilson came on and allowed 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Greg Weissert picked up his 2nd save of the season, pitching the 9th. He allowed 2 hits and 1 run

Trevor Story was 2-4 with a pair of doubles. He had a run batted in.

Carlos Narvaez was 2-3 with a double.

Rob Refsnyder leading off for the 2nd game in a row was 2-3 with a double.

Boston is now 36-36, and at .500 for the 1st time since May 24th when they were 27-27. They are in 4th place in the AL East, 7.5 games behind the New York Yankees.  They are only 1 game out of the AL Wild Card Standings.

The Red Sox are now 4-1 against the New York Yankees this season.

Boston and New York will play the final game of the 3-game series on Sunday afternoon, June 15th. The pregame starts at 12:35 with the 1st pitch at 1:35 on WDEA AM 1370.
