Walker Buehler improved to 3-1 on the season with a strong pitching performance. He went 70 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run, striking out 9 and walking 3.

Aroldis Chapman pitched the 8th inning allowing 1 hit and 1 run, striking out 1. Justin Slaten pitched the 9th inning, holding the White Sox hitless and striking out 1 for his 3rd save of the season.

Trevor Story was 3-4 with a run batted in. He's batting .337 on the season to lead the Red Sox.

Rob Refsnyder was 1-4 with a solo homer, his 1st of the season in the 2nd inning.

Kristian Campbell was 2-3, driving in 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a single.

Former Red Sox Ander Benintendi hit his 4th homer of the season for the White Sox.

Boston is now 12-7 in April, the American League's 2nd best record in the month, behind Detroit who is 12-6.

Boston is now 13-11 while Chicago falls to 5-17. The Red Sox open a 3-game series with the White Sox on Tuesday, with the pregame starting at 5:45 and 1st pitch at 6:45 on AM 1370 WDEA. The Red Sox are expected to activate Brayan Bello prior to Tuesday's game to start for them.
