The Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 10-7 picking up a much-needed win as Trevor Story drove in 5 runs and Kristian Campbell drove in 2 runs.

Story, who is only batting .222 was 3-5 with a double and drove in 5 runs. Campbell who was the AL Rookie of the Month in April, is only hitting .227. He was 2-3, driving in 2 runs.

Garrett Crochet picked up the win for the Red Sox. The starter is now 6-4. He went 6.0 innings allowing 6 hits and 5 runs, striking out 9 and walking 1.

Greg Weissert pitching a perfect 7th inning, striking out the side. Justin Wilson came on in the 8th inning, allowing 1 hit and 2 runs, striking out 2 but walking 2 batters. Aroldis Chapman picked up his 10th save of the season, striking out 1 in the 9th inning.

Rafael Devers was 1-4 with a  double.

Romy Gonzalez who was playing 1st base, was 3-4 with 2 runs batted in. He had a double and hit his 1st homer of the season, a 2-run homer in the 4th inning.

Meanwhile down in Triple A Worcester, Roman Anthony hit a 497 foot grand slam. He is batting is batting .290 with 10 homers and 29 RBIs in 57 games this season for the Woo Sox and the drumbeat to call him up to the big leagues intensifies!

Boston and New York will play the final game of the 3-game series Sunday night, with the pregame starting at 6:10 p.m. and 1st pitch at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
