Danny Jansen had Boston's other hit with a single in the 8th inning.

Rich Hill, made his Red Sox debut. Wearing number 44 (his age) he went 1.1 innings, striking out 2. He became the only player to appear in at least 1 major league game in each of the last 20 seasons! He also joined Tim Wakefield, Carl Yastrzemski and Deacon McGuire as the only players to have played for the Red Sox at the age of 44 or older.
