Popsicles with the Principal at Pemetic

Attention all Pre-K to Grade 8 students attending Pemetic Elementary School in Southwest Harbor! You are invited to come to school this Saturday, August 27th from 11 a.m. to 12 noon to have a popsicle with the new principal of the school!

Dr. Christine Gray is the new principal and here's the brief bio she sent me on Wednesday morning!

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the new principal of Pemetic Elementary. My name is Dr. Christine Gray.  I grew up in Connecticut and was fortunate enough to have spent my summers here in the MDI area. My dad's family are all from towns here on the island so I have always had a strong connection to the area.  I am coming to you with thirteen years of administration experience and a total of 22+ years in education.  I have taught 1st grade through 5th grade and have worked in schools ranging from PreK through 8th grade.  I am so excited for the opportunity to work with the fantastic staff at Pemetic and looking forward to becoming a member of this magnificent community of Southwest Harbor.   I can't wait to meet all of the students at Pemetic Elementary!
