Planned Power Outage in Bar Harbor Wednesday April 17

Businesses and residents in parts of Bar Harbor should plan on being without power for about 4 hours on Wednesday, April 17th beginning at 8AM as Emera Maine is planning maintenance on the electrical system.

The area impacted includes the north side of Derby Lane, Main Street between Derby Lane and Albert Meadow, and part of Main Street north of Albert Meadow. Customers may experience service interruptions during this time.

The purpose of the work is to make repairs safely, improve reliability and prevent future outages.

Rain date is Thursday, April 18th.
