Here are a couple of fun, free activities at the Ellsworth Public Library in June to stop the "I'm Boreds!"
Pop-Up LEGO and Games Friday June 21st and 28th at 2 p.m.
Stop by and join the Ellsworth Public Librarians and build some great LEGO creations and play some games.
Picnic Table Painting June 26th at 2 p.m.
For children 8 to 12. Registration is required. Ms. Keli and Ms. Sarah will lead participants in a super fun paint by number experience! Help the Ellsworth Public Library get their picnic tables ready for summer!
Summer Reading Kick-Off Party Saturday June 29th at 10 a.m.
This year's Youth Summer Reading Program "Camping with Cryptids" is all about mythical creatures and literary exploration.
Summer Reading kicks off with a Party on the Library Lawn on Saturday June 29th at 10 a.m, Come and get your "Big Foot Hunting License" for completing a number of fun age-appropriate tasks.
There are 3 reading groups with age-appropriate incentives. The groups are 0-4, 5-12 and 13-18.
Over the summer kids and teens can track their reading progress in logs. For the younger children, the Library is happy to hold the reading logs at the Library.
The Ellsworth Public Library's summer hours are
- Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
