Former MDI Trojan and Bowdoin Polar Bear Megan Phelps is returning to Bowdoin College as she has been hired as the Assistant Coach of the Women's Basketball Team

Phelps graduated from Bowdoin in 2015 and for the last two years she has been the Assistant Coach of Regis College in Massachusetts. While there, she earned her Master's Degree in Communications. The Pride went undefeated the last two years in the New England Collegiate Conference and were 46-11 overall qualifying for two NCAA appearances. While there, Megan was handling recruiting, film breakdown and player development.

While at Bowdoin, she scored 696 points, pulled down 512 rebounds and led the Polar Bears to three NCAA Tournament appearances. She was named captain of the team twice.

Megan finished with over 1000 career points at MDI High School in 2011.
