Paving on the Surry Road near Surry-Ellsworth Town Line

The City of Ellsworth has let us know that the Maine Department of Transportation is paving the Surry Road near the Surry-Ellsworth Town line on Thursday, September 12th.

They are expected to be across the town line in Surry, in the Ellsworth Direction. There will be alternating traffic.

This work is expected to continue the remaining of this week then into next week and may cross into Ellsworth during that time.

The project limits are from about Turkey Farm Road in Blue Hill to near Josie's Store.

Please be mindful of the workers, giving them as much room as possible. You should expect delays and be mindful of flaggers and their instructions.
