O’Neil Shines in Lax Debut

Talk about a fine debut! Former MDI Trojan Shelby O'Neil played in her first collegiate lacrosse game on Friday, March 10th as the Maine Maritime Mariners beat SUNY Maritime in their home and season opener 13-2 in Castine.

O'Neil scored a goal and had an assist as well as leading the Mariners with six draw controls and four caused turnovers. Shelby did not have any penalties.

Maine Maritime 1-0 is back in action Saturday, March 18th when they play home against Lyndon State
