There’s been a noticeable uptick in movie stars touring with their classic films lately, providing fans the opportunity to watch their favorite movies on the big screens and maybe get a picture with their stars if they’ve got enough cash. One such event that’s touring the country is the Meet 'N' Grease Movie Sing-A-Long, where original films stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John host special screenings of the 1978 musical with a Q&A session and VIP meet and greets. The description from Facebook says “all audience members (from General Admission to VIP Package ticket holders) are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite character from Grease.”

That cosplay even includes the film’s stars, as you can see in the picture below. Newton-John posted a picture of herself and Travolta in costume for the event “for the first time” since they made the film more than 40 years ago:

Later in the event (via People), Newton-John also switched to a Sandy-as-a-T-Bird costume. With all this Grease nostalgia going on, it’s probably worth noting there’s also going to be a Grease spinoff called Grease: Rydell High coming to the HBO Max streaming service in the near future. (Don’t expect Travolta or Newton-John to show up on that one, it’s expected to be set in the 1950s with a new group of teenagers.) HBO Max launches in the spring of next year.
