The Old Town Coyotes scored 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning to take a 5-3 lead and then held off Ellsworth's 7th inning rally retiring the last batter with the bases loaded to beat Ellsworth 5-4.

Dawson Curtis started for Ellsworth and went 4.0 innings allowing 1 hit and 2 runs, walking 5 and striking out 2. Brayden King took the loss, allowing 1 hit and 3 runs. He walked 7 and struck out 6

Julian Duty started on the mound for the Coyotes and went 3.2 innings. He allowed 3 hits and 3 runs, striking out 7 and walking 2. Tyler Priest picked up the win in relief, pitching the final 3.1 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run. He struck out 6 and walked 3.

Alex McCannell and Ethan Closson each had a single for the Coyotes.

Kyle Lenny was 4-4 leading off for the Eagles, with a triple. Brayden King had Ellsworth's other hit

Old Town is 1-0 and will host Hermon on Monday, April 29th at 4:30 p.m.

Ellsworth is 1-1 and will travel to Brewer to play the Witches on Monday, April 29th at 4:30 p.m.
