Marina Keene No-Hits Sumner as Bucksport Wins 15-0

Marina Keene threw a 3-inning mercy-rule shortened no-hitter on Monday, May 4th and the Bucksport Lady Golden Bucks beat Sumner 15-0.

Keene walked 3 and struck out 4 for the win,

Bucksport's bats were blazing as they rapped out 13 hits, including 7 extra base hits. Every Bucksport batter had at least 1 hit.

Avery Robshaw hit a home run and had a double, going 2-4 and driving in 4 runs.

Lexi Raymond had a triple and was 2-3 with 2 runs batted in from the leadoff spot.

Brie Rotella had a pair of doubles, going 2-2 with  run batted in.

Allie Hanscom was 1-3 with a double and run batted in

Addison Harvey was 1-3 with a double and drove in a pair of runs.

Layken Varnum, Marina Keene and Alivia Shute each singled.

Bucksport is now 5-1. They will play at home against Ellsworth on Wednesday, May 6th at 4:30 p.m.

Sumner is 3-1. They will host Jonesport-Beals on Tuesday, May 5th at 4 p.m.
