Neighborhood House’s 1st Community Cafe of the Season Thursday

One of the best things about Island life is the sense of community. As Mount Desert Island slips from the "shoulder" season to the "off" season, there is a chance to breathe and reconnect with neighbors. To that extent, the Neighborhood House's 1st Community Cafe of the Season will be held Thursday, November 7th.

The Community Cafes run the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, from November 7th through April 16, 2020. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 1. Takeout containers are available for those who can't stay. Note the March 12th Community Cafe will be served at night.

The luncheons feature a choice of homemade main courses including a vegetarian option. There is also salad, bread, and dessert. EVERYONE is invited for just a $7 suggested donation. Seniors are invited to have lunch "on the house.”
