25th Annual Neighborhood House Bicycle Parade and Ice Cream Social – Wednesday August 6th
Do you have a giant red circle or star on your calendar on Wednesday, August 6th? If not circle or star the date now, because that's the date for the 25th Annual Neighborhood House Bicycle Parade and Ice Cream Social!
Children are invited to bring their bikes for decorating at 5:30 p.m. and then the parade will leave the Neighborhood House at 6 p.m. traveling up the Tracy Road and back down to Main Street ending at the Neighborhood House. The MDI Police and Fire Department will be leading the way, with the lights flashing and the sirens blaring!
Then, it's time to celebrate with a Hot Fudge Sundae! Even if you are not participating in the parade, you can cheer on the parade and still come to the Neighborhood House for an ice cream sundae!
And this year, in honor of the 25th Anniversary, the Neighborhood House has "color changing" commemorative cups, that you can take home with you and then every time you have ice cream and eat out of the cup, you can remember the parade!
Check out the video from last year's Bike Parade and Ice Cream Social!
Remember safety first and bring your helmet for the bike parade!
