Things got a little hot in Chicago, Friday night, April 26th at the Nationwide Race in Chicago. Nelson Piquet Jr. and Brian Scott exchange more than words after Richmond with allegations of kicking in the crotch and more.

And it got worse afterwards.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that Michael A. Scearce, 50, of Mount Ulla, N.C., and Thomas F. Costello, 35, of Kannapolis, N. C., were charged in the incident.

Henrico County police said Searce was arrested on two charges of misdemeanor assault and Costello on one count of misdemeanor assault. Both were released early Saturday.

Police said both are crew members for RCR driver Brian Scott’s Nationwide Series team. They said the fight happened after Friday night’s Nationwide Series race.
