
Narraguagus High School Announces Honor Parts for Class of 2025
Principal Todd Emerson has announced the Honor Parts for the Class of 2025 at Narraguagus Junior/Senior High School in Harrington.
Valedictorian is Paidyn Cashman, daughter of Starley Moffitt of Cherryfield and David Cashman of Harrington. Salutatorian is Charles “Chaz” Willey, son of Travis & Nicole Willey of Milbridge.
Paidyn is a member of the National Honor Society and the Outdoor Club. While at Narraguagus, she has also been involved in the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute. Paidyn has been an integral member of the soccer, basketball, and softball teams during her entire high school career. Along with the school-sponsored sports, she has also spent countless hours over the past 4 years as a part of the Sluggers Softball Organization. In softball she was named captain as a junior, chosen for PVC 2nd team for two years, PVC 1st team her junior year, DAC All-Star for three years, DAC Player of the Year her sophomore year, and was named to the Maine Coach’s Association All State team her sophomore and junior years. In soccer she was named junior and senior captain, DAC All-Star for two years, and PVC All-Academic. Basketball awards included senior captain, DAC All-Star, and PVC All-Academic. She received the Golden Apple Award and the Maine Principals Association Principal’s Award, as well as numerous individual class awards. Paidyn plans to join the Army ROTC program and study Wildlife Ecology in the fall at the University of Maine in Orono.
Chaz is a member of the Civil Rights Team and Vice President of the Class of 2025. He received the Golden Apple Award as well as numerous individual class awards. During his years at Narraguagus, he has been an integral part of the soccer, baseball, cross country, indoor track and field (with Sumner) and the track & field teams, earning numerous awards. In soccer he was chosen for PVC 1st Team, PVC Spirit of the Game award, DAC All-Star, Co-MVP, and senior captain. Indoor track achievements include PVC 1st Team in the 4x800m Relay, PVC 2nd Team in the 4x200m relay, Coaches’ Award, 4th in PVC Triple Jump, 6th in PVC Long Jump, and 6th in PVC Triple Jump. In Cross Country, Chaz was a DAC All-Star and placed 3rd overall at the DAC Championship meet despite only running one year. Charles plans to study International Business and Logistics in the fall at Maine Maritime Academy.

Graduation exercises will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, in the Charles F. Lawrence gymnasium
