The Narraguagus Knights Softball Team beat the Shead Tigers 15-0 on Wednesday afternoon, April 23rd. The game was stopped after 3 innings because of the mercy rule.

Narraguagus scored 4 runs in the 1st inning, 4 in the 2nd and 7 runs in the 3rd innings.

Natalie Stanwood and Emma Shaw combined to no-hit Shead. Stanwood (2 innings) struck out 6 while walking 1 and Shaw (1.0 inning) struck out the side

Paidyn Cashman was 2-3, driving in 3 runs. Kaitlyn Grant was 1-1 with a double, walking twice and driving in 3 runs. Stanwood was 1-2, walking twice and driving in 2 runs. Audrey Gray was 1-2, with 1 walk and 2 runs driven in.

Narraguagus took advantage of 13 walks.

Narraguagus is now 2-0. The Knights will host Lee Academy on Friday, April 25th at 1 pm. Shead is 0-1 They will go to Schenck on Friday, April 25th at 1 pm.

Please include stats, and make sure you indicate what school this individual attends, and what sport they're playing! All nominations should be received by Sunday, April 27th. Voting for Week 2 will take place April 28- May 1st with the winner being announced on Friday, May 2nd.
