Narraguagus Baseball Beats Sumner 13-8 on Monday
It was more like a track meet than a baseball game, as the Narraguagus Knights won their 1st game of the season beating Sumner in East Sullivan 13-8 on Monday, April 25th.
Narraguagus had 6 hits in the game, but 10 players stole a combined 28 bases in the game.
Michael Stanwood had a double and triple and stole 8 bases. Manny Absalome stole 3 bases. Ryan Rolfe stole 3 bases. McKade Robertson had a single and swiped 3 bases.Logan Stubbs stole 3 bases. Eric Redimarker , Chaz Willey, and Matthew Haire each stole 2 bases. Kameron Joyce and Kayden Grant stole 1 base each.
Michael Stanwood started on the mound for Narraguagus and went 4 innings, allowing 5 hit and 7 runs. He struck out 9 and walked 6. Ryan Rolfe closed out the game pitching the final 3 innings. He struck out 3.
