Messalonskee Beats Ellsworth 3-1

In the "Battle of Eagles" the Messalonskee Volleyball Team beat Brewer 3-1 on Thursday night, October 10th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. The individual set scores were 25-8, 14-25, 25-18 and 25-22.

• Brielle Grindle: 2 aces, 11 kills and 19 digs.
• Shanteena Griffiths: 4 aces, 8 kills, 1 block and 35 digs.
• Jordin Mann: 11 assists and 9 digs.
• Sophie Beal: 2 aces, 8 kills, 2 digs.
• Lauren Young: 36 digs.

Messalonskee is now 7-4 on the season. They will host Gardiner on Tuesday, October 15th at 5:30 p.m.

Ellsworth is now 6-5. They are back on the court on Saturday, October 12th when they travel to play Camden Hills at 1:30 p.m.
