Meet Bob

One of the things I'm most passionate about is my dog, Bob. Bob is an Australian Shepherd, who is almost three years old. He came to live with us in October 2010 from Georgia, where he was in a kill shelter. My wife, Bonnie and I weren't really looking for another dog, as we had just recently lost Katie, a Springer/Spaniel mix who had lived with us for 13 years.

We found Bob on petfinder.com and fell immediately in love with him. He had been hit by a car, was completely flea infested and had heartworm. To say he was a mess was an understatement. We just said get him well, and we will take him. This was a summer long process, with numerous delays, but finally Columbus Day Weekend 2010 Bob was ours. I have lots of Bob stories and I look forward to sharing them with you in the days to come!
