MDI Girls Soccer Beats Caribou 5-1

The MDI Girls Soccer Team beat the Caribou Vikings 5-1 in Caribou on Saturday, September 20th.

Trailing 1-0 the MDI Girls stormed back, scoring 5 unanswered goals in the 2nd Half.

Scoring for the Trojans were

• Delilah Damon-Dong - goal and an assist
• Rosie Ellis - goal and an assist
• Gwen Stager - assist
• Maddie Marks - assist
• Maeve Hurley - assist

Gwen Stager was in goal for MDI and came home with 3 saves.

MDI is 3-2. They will play at Ellsworth on Wednesday, September 24th at 6 p.m.

Caribou is 0-5. They will play at Presque Isle on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7 p.m.
