MDI’s Joyce, Isaacs and EHS’s Williams Selected to Play in 30th Annual Shrine Lobster Bowl

The 30th Annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl will be played on July 20th at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine. Two MDI football players and one Ellsworth football player have been selected to represent the East.

MDI's Elijah Joyce and Gilbert Isaacs as well as Ellsworth's Javon Williams have been selected to the East squad.

This High School Senior All-Star football game is a Kora Shrine sponsored event where 100% of the net proceeds from the game are for the benefit of the 22 Shrine Hospitals for Children across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The student athletes are high school seniors who have just graduated and are about to enter college. They are nominated to play in this prestigious game by their coaches and selected by a committee from the Maine Athletics Association.
