MDI’s Hanna Up for 92.9’s McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Week

Every Monday, during the High School athletic season, our sister station 92.9 The Ticket takes nominations for the McDonald's High School Athlete of the Week. This week, MDI's Mackenzie Hanna is one of the five nominees!

The MDI girls’ volleyball team picked up two wins over the past week and were led by strong matches from Mackenzie Hanna.  The senior had nine aces, eight kills, and 14 assists in the 3-0 victory over Machias, while also notching 10 aces, nine kills, and 14 assists in a 3-1 win versus Cony.  The Trojans are 6-2 on the year and sit in fourth place in the Class B standings.Voting closes Wednesday night, October 4th at 11:59 PM.
