MDI’s Brent Barker Tied for 35th in Maine Amateur

Brent Barker may be best known as the MDI Girl's Basketball Coach, in fact he brought the 2018-19 team to the State Finals. But, he's also a very good golfer!

Barker is playing in the 100th Annual Maine Amateur Championships, taking place July 9-11 at the Portland Country Club.

After Day 1, Barker is tied for 35th out of 132 golfers. Barker shot a 76, 6 over par. Cole Anderson leads everyone after Day 1, carding a round of 65, 1 of only 3 golfers under par.
