MDI High School will be hosting the Eastern Regional of the Maine Drama Festival this weekend, Friday March 8th and Saturday March 9th. Tickets are $8.00 for adults per session and $5.00 per session for students and seniors.

Performances begin on the hour, and no photography or videotaping is allowed.

  • 7PM - Shead High School "The Sequel" by Percival Wilde directed by Caryn Vinson
  • 8PM - Deer Isle Stonington "Attached" by John Lincoln directed by John Lincoln
  • 9PM - MDI High School "The Thugs" by Adam Bock  directed by Casey Rush

Saturday March 9th - Doors open at 11:30AM

  • 12 Noon - Calais High School "13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview" by Ian McWorthy directed by Kati Grass
  • 1PM - Hampden Academy "Radium Girls" by D.W. Gregory directed by Jennifer Guare
  • 2 PM - Washinton Academy "A Wrinkle in Time" by Morgan Gould directed by James Ausprey

Saturday March 9th - Doors open at 5:30PM

  • 6PM - Yarmouth High School "The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild" by Paul Zindel directed by Betsy Puelle
  • 7PM - Belfast High School "Sherlock Holmes:Comedy Trilogy by Dick Charlton directed by Ian Howard
  • 8PM - Ellsworth High School "The Little Prince" by Jasmine Ireland directed by Jasmine Ireland

Class A - MDI High School, Hampden Academy, Yarmouth High School and Belfast High School

Class B - Shead High School, Deer Isle Stonington, Calais, Washington Academy and Ellsworth High School.
