The 2020 MDI YMCA Shark season came to an end, in a way that no one could have possibly imagined, with the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly bringing the season to an end in mid-March. However, according to Coach Jim Willis, on Wednesday, May 6th, there was a Zoom meeting with at least 72 participants/families for an end of the year celebration. The following awards were presented

Most Outstanding Swimmers

  • 8 and Under  Parker Richards and Sam Neel
  • 9-10 Year  Kemy Cistone and Wyatt Braun
  • 11-12 Year Peighton Skeate and JJ Cistone
  • 13-14 Year Lily James/Cecilia Saltysiak and Brendan Grayes
  • Senior  Ruby Brown and Olivia Underwood

Most Improved Swimmers

  • 8 and Under Antonia Burns and Rankin Moore
  • 9-10 Year Kitty Saltysiak and Jack Mourino
  • 11-12 Year Angela Zhang and Henry Sprague
