MDI Wins 3rd Game in 3 Days Beating GSA 6-1

The MDI Girls won their 3rd game in a row, in 3 days, as they beat George Stevens Academy on Wednesday, May 9th 6-1, in Bar Harbor.

Emily York pitched a complete game for the Trojans, for the win, scattering 5 hits and striking out 9. She didn't walk a batter. She allowed 1 earned run.

Mallory Charette took the loss for the Eagles. She gave up 4 hits. All of MDI's runs were unearned. She struck out 3 and walked 1.

MDI is now 5-3 and has 2 more games this week. They play at home against Foxcroft Academy on Thursday, May 10th at 4:30 PM and against the John Bapst Crusaders on Saturday, May 12th at 12 Noon.

GSA is 1-6 and play host to Orono on Thursday, May 10th at 4:30 PM.
