MDI Volleyball Beats Brewer 3-0

The MDI Volleyball Team beat the Brewer Witches in straight sets 3-0 on Tuesday, September 16th at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor. The individual set scores were 25-18, 26-24, 25-23 .

According to MDI Coach Whitney Walls the MDI Standouts were

• Janiece Anderson: 7 kills, 2 aces, 2 digs, 1 block assist
• Lanaia McDaniels: 4 kills, 2 aces, 1 block assist
• Lily Byer: 1 kill, 4 aces, 16 assists, 7 digs
• Grace Sinclair: 2 kills, 1 ace, 11 digs

MDI is now 2-3. They will travel to Harrington to play the Narraguagus Knights on Thursday, September 18th at 5:30 p.m.

Brewer is now 3-1. They will travel to Newport to play the Nokomis Warriors on Monday, September 22nd at 6 p.m.

The MDI JV Team lost to Brewer 2-1. Set scores were 20-25, 25-22, 17-19

• Shriya Muthukumar: 7 aces, 3 digs

The MDI First Team lost in straight sets to Brewer 3-9 The individual set scores were 16-25, 11-25, 6-15
