MDI Volleyball Falls to Washington Academy 3-1

The MDI Volleyball Team fell to Washington Academy 3-1 on Wednesday, October 2nd at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor.  The individual set scores were 12-25, 25-22, 9-25 and 22-25.

MDI Stat Leaders included

• Lexi Tozier: 7 kills, 2 aces, 11 digs, 1 solo block
• Lauren Davis: 4 kills, 1 ace, 9 digs
• Daley Foss: 4 Kills, 1 ace, 9 digs
• Grace Sinclair: 8 digs, 34 receptions, passed 1.8 in serve receive

The MDI JV Team lost 3-0 with set scores 14-25, 18-25 and 25-27.

Stat Leaders included

• Samantha Parkin: 2 kills, 2 aces
• Madie Watkins: 2 kills, 3 aces, 1 dig, 1 assist
• Kiera Young: 3 aces, 2 digs

The MDI First Team won 2-1 with set scores 25-18, 25-27 and 15-10.

MDI Stat Leaders included

• Juliette Gaudrault: 2 kills
• Addy Dowsland: 4 aces, 1 dig
• Virginyah Stokes: 1 kill, 4 aces, 3 digs

MDI is now 6-2 and will travel to play the Messalonskee Eagles on Saturday, October 5th at 5:30 p.m.

Washington Academy continues unbeaten at 9-0. They will host Ellsworth on Friday, October 4th at 6 p.m.
