MDI Volleyball Defeats York in Quarterfinals 3-0 [PHOTOS]

The #5 MDI Trojans Volleyball Team defeated #13 York at Bernard Parady Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 26th in straight sets 3-0. The individual set scores were 25-13, 25-16, and 25-10

MDI has had a rollercoaster of a season this year but I think we are playing our best volleyball when it counts. Hopefully we will build on these two playoff wins when we take on Yarmouth Thursday night. Our intensity has improved and the girls are practicing and playing with passion. It was a team effort tonight and a lot of fun to watch.

MDI is now 10-6. York ends their season 6-9. Yarmouth is the #1 seed and  beat Ellsworth Tuesday afternoon. MDI will travel to Yarmouth for the semifinals on Thursday, October 28th.
