MDI Volleyball Defeats Brewer 3-1

The MDI Volleyball Team defeated Brewer 3-1 on Tuesday, September 17th at Bernard Parady Gymnasium at MDI High School.  The individual set scores were 25-10, 25-13, 19-25 and 25-10

• Daley Foss: 9 kills, 2 digs
• Lauren Davis: 7 kills, 1 ace, 3 assists, 1 block
• Lexi Tozier: 5 kills, 1 ace, 1 assist, 3 digs
• Grace Sinclair: 3 aces, 1 assist, 5 digs

The MDI Varsity is now 3-1 on the season. They will host Hampden Academy on Thursday, September 19th at 6 p.m.

Brewer is now 1-3. They too will host Hampden Academy, hosting the Broncos on Monday, September 13th at 6 p.m.

The MDI JV Team defeated Brewer 3-0 with individual set scores  25-12, 25-21, and  15-13

MDI JV Stat Leaders included

• Ella Watson: 1 kill, 12 aces, 1 dig
• Kiera Young: 3 kills Madie Watkins: 1 kill, 2 assists
• Samantha Parkin: 4 aces, 2 Digs

The MDI First Team also defeated Brewer by the score of  2-1 . The individual set scores were 25-22, 25-23, and 12-15

MDI First Team Stat Leaders included

• Lily Walton: 7 aces, 1 dig
• Virginyah Stokes: 7 kills, 4 aces
• Blake Thieken: 3 kills, 3 digs
• Addy Dowsland: 5 aces, 4 assist
