MDI Volleyball Beats Ellsworth 3-0 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojan Volleyball Team defeated Ellsworth at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor on Thursday, September 26th in straight sets. The individual set scores were 25-8, 25-16 and 25-23.

According to  MDI Coach Corey

"One of the things we've been talking about is starting strong, and then finishing.  I think we played well all the way through, got everyone in, and it was a lot of fun watching the girls play.  Ellsworth battled hard in the third set and we had to play from behind for most of it, but the girls clawed their way back in to overtake them at the end.  We still have things to work on but I believe we're trending upward."

MDI is now 4-3 and plays host to Greely on Saturday, September 28th at 12:30. Ellsworth 1-4 plays host to Westbrook on Tuesday October 1st at 5:30
