MDI Volleyball Beats Brewer 3-0

The MDI Volleyball Team picked up their 1st win of the season, beating Brewer in 3 sets, at home, on Tuesday, September 10th. The individual games were very tight, with MDI winning 25-23, 25-11, 30-28.

"I think we served tough today with 27 aces, and even the serves that weren't aces were hard to handle.  And while we struggled in transition a bit, the girls did take some good swings and had some hard kills.  In the end while we weren't perfect technically, the girls did hustle when we needed it, and that was the difference."

The Trojans are now 1-1 and head to Southern Maine this weekend, with a Friday night game at Cape Elizabeth at 6:30 on Friday the 13th followed by a Saturday morning game at Westbrook on September 14 at 11:30

The Brewer Witches are 0-2 and play at Bucksport on Wednesday, September 12th at 5:30
