MDI Volleyball Beats Brewer 3-0 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Volleyball Team defeated Brewer 3-0 in Brewer on Wednesday night, September 13th.

The individual set scores were 25-22, 25-15,and 25-21

MDI Stat leaders included:

Sharyn Lipski: 5 aces, 13 assists, 1 block, 4 digs
Lexi Tozier: 3 aces, 5 kills, 1 assist, 1 block
Molly Redgate: 3 aces, 1 assist, 3 digs
Daley Foss: 2 aces, 5 kills, 2 blocks, 5 digs

According to Coach Corey

We have been improving each game and tonight we started to see our offense take some good swings. Serving was better and the team worked well together. Once again, everyone contributed. We still have work to do but are trending in the right direction.

MDI is now 3-2 and will host the Narraguagus Knights on Tuesday, September 19th at 5:30 p.m.

Brewer is 1-3. They are scheduled to play at Washington Academy, weather permitting on Saturday, September 16th at 12 noon.
