MDI Volleyball Beat Lake Region 3-0

The MDI Trojans beat the Lake Region Lakers 3-0 in Volleyball on Saturday, September 27th on the road in Naples. The individual set scores were  25-13, 25-12,and  25-16.

MDI Stat Leaders included

• Janiece Anderson: 6 kills, 10 aces, 1 dig
• Lily Byer: 1 kill, 6 aces, 1 dig, 1 block assist
• Lanaia McDaniels: 7 aces, 1 dig, 1 block assist
• Annabel Curry: 1 kill, 1 dig, 2 blocks
• Ella Watson: 4 kills, 1 dig, 1 block assist

MDI is now 4-4. They will host Ellsworth on Thursday, October 2nd at 6 p.m.

Lake Region is 9-7. They will host Gardiner on Tuesday, September 30th at 5:30 p.m.

The MDI JV squad won their 1st match of the season , beating Lake Region 2-1. Indiviual set scores were 25-13, 26-24, 11-15

• Parker Richards: 2 kills, 1 ace, 1 assist, 3 digs
• Virginyah Stokes: 4 kills, 3 aces, 1 dig
• Lily Walton: 4 aces, 1 dig
• Madie Watkins: 1 kill, 4 aces, 2 assists, 2 digs
