Watson 3-Hits John Bapst as MDI Defeats Crusaders 4-0

Ella Watson tossed a 3-hitter as the MDI Trojans shutout the John Bapst Crusaders 4-0 in Bar Harbor On Wednesday May 27th.

Watson struck out 9 and walked just 1 in picking up the win.

MDI banged out 10 hits.

Cate Brown was 2-4 with a double and drove in a run. Grace Hodgdon was 2-4, scoring 2 runs. Melodie Jacobs was 2-3. Ella Watson hit a triple. Addie Dowsland and Genevieve Lapointe each singled.

Hodgdon had a stolen base.

Meredith Walsh was in the circle for the Crusaders. She allowed the 10 hits and 4 runs, 2 of which were earned. She struck out 4 and walked 1.

Grace Bouchard, Natalie Haulk and Addi Clukey each singled for the Crusaders.

MDI is now 6-5. They will play at Hermon on Thursday, May 28th at 4:30 p.m.

John Bapst is 5-10. They finish off the regular season on Tuesday, June 2nd at 5 p.m.
