MDI Boys Take on Hermon – Wednesday January 28 [LISTEN LIVE]

The 14-1 MDI Trojans travel to Hermon tonight, Wednesday, January 28th to take on the 13-2 Hawks. The game tips off at 7 p.m.

The Trojans lone loss of the season came at the hands of the Hawks back on Wednesday, December 17th, in a triple-overtime thriller where the Hawks outlasted MDI 92-84. The game was tied at 57-57 at the end of regulation, 67-67 at the end of the 1st overtime and 80-80 at the end ot the 2nd overtime. In that game James Witham had 47 points before fouling out. Preston Tripp had 15 points and Lincoln Gray had 10 points. Dylan Stoll fouled out with 10 points. For Hermon Carter Wiggin had 35 points, Mason Kinney 14 points and Tyler Corson and Connor Kelley each had 12 points.

Hermon's 2 losses have come to Belfast and Gardiner.

Hermon is in 3rd place while MDI is in 4th place. Hermon will have 2 games left, after tonight, at home against Presque Isle on Saturday and then they close out the regular season on Tuesday, February 3rd at John Bapst.

MDI will have 2 games left after tonight. They host John Bapst on Friday, January 30th at 7p.m. and then end the regular season on Wednesday, February 4th at 7 p.m. at Ellsworth.
