MDI Tops John Bapst 6-5 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans beat the John Bapst Crusaders in softball 6-5 on Thursday, April 27th in Bar Harbor. Lindsey McEachern pitched a complete game for the Trojans allowing just 5 hits and 2 earned runs while walking 2 and striking out 11.

The Trojans had 4 hits.  Hannah Chamberlain and Maddie Thornton each had a double and Ruby Brown and Lily Cook singled.

Kayla Massey pitched a complete game for the Crusaders. She allowed the 4 hits, 6 runs, 2 of which were earned and struck out 10 Trojans while walking 4.

Hallie Rockress had 2 singles for the Crusaders. Emilee Soucie had a single and double and Gabrielle Gonzales had a single.

The Trojans are now 2-1 and will play at Old Town on Monday, May 1st at 4:30 PM.

John Bapst is 0-1 and will play host to Lee Academy on Saturday April 29th in a doubleheader with games at 12 Noon and 2 PM.
