MDI Softball Falls to Old Town 6-2

The MDI Trojan Softball Team fell to the Old Town Coyotes in Bar Harbor on Thursday, April 25th.

Lindsey McEachern took the loss for the Trojans, pitching a complete game allowing 7 hits, 6 runs, 4 of which were earned and striking out 9 while walking 2.

Olivia Albert picked up the win for the Coyotes, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs, both unearned. She struck out 14 and walked 4.

Lindsey McEachern was 2-4 batting for the Trojans, both singles. Emily York and Mackenzie Dyer each had a double and Lily Cook had MDI's other hit.

For Old Town Olivia Albert was 3-4 with a homer and a double. Mikayla Kenny had a homer. Hannah Sibley had a double.

MDI is now 0-2 and will play a doubleheader in Caribou on Friday, April 26th with games at Caribou at 1:30 and 4

Old Town, now 2-0 and is scheduled to play host to Hermon on Saturday, April 27th. .
