MDI Softball Beats John Bapst 12-1 as Mollie Gray Homers and Leah Carroll Hits Grand Slam [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans beat the John Bapst Crusaders 12-1 Tuesday evening at the Union Street Softball Complex in Bangor as Leah Carroll hit a grand slam and Mollie Gray homered.

Addy Boyce pitched the complete game for the Trojans, limiting the Crusaders to 6 hits. She struck out 13 and didn't walk a batter.

MDI scored 5 runs in the 1st inning highlighted by Carroll's grand slam. They then added 5 runs in the 2nd inning, sending 9 batters to the plate. Mollie Gray hit her homer in the 2nd inning.
