MDI Beats Ellsworth 3-2 in Boys Soccer

The MDI Boy's Soccer Team beat Ellsworth 3-2 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Tuesday, September 23rd.

Colin Sullivan scored a hat trick for the Trojans. His 1st goal, scored with just 3:27 gone in the game was unassisted. His 2nd goal, coming with 6:07 left in the 1st Half was assisted by Bos Lisy. His final goal was scored with 28:56 remaining in the game, assisted by Isaac Ellis..

For Ellsworth Eli Holler and Porter Merrill scored goals with Caleb Jordan and Riley Smith each having an assist.

Rykin Hamor was in goal for MDI while Cooper Mitchell was in goal for Ellsworth.

Ellsworth is 4-2-1. They will host the Washington Academy Raiders on Saturday, September 27th at 1:30 p.m.

MDI is 4-2. They will play at the University of Maine against John Bapst on Thursday, September 25th at 4 p.m.

In the JV game, Ellsworth beat MDI 3-0. Angelo Dellosa had a pair of goals and Jayko Banda had a goal. Brayden Pooler and Ryder Montgomery split time in goal for the Eagles.
