MDI Shocks Ellsworth 4-0

The MDI Trojans shocked the Ellsworth Eagles on Senior Recognition Night in Bar Harbor, beating Ellsworth 4-0 on Monday, October 16th.

Senior Griffin Maristany scored MDI's 1st goal on an assist from senior Jose Chumbe with 9:08 remaining in the 1st Half. Trevor Morrison made it 2-0 MDI, scoring on an assist from Maristany with 2:05 remaining in the 1st Half.

Senior Owen Mild added an an insurance goal, unassisted with 8 minutes elapsed in the 2nd Half. Chumbe scored the final goal with just under 11 minutes remaining in the game, on an assist from senior Hayden Goodwin.

Nate Philbrook recorded the shutout for MDI in goal.

MDI finishes the regular season with a record of 4-10-0 and will travel to play in a prelim game on Saturday, October 21st.
