The MDI Trojans were trailing Foxcroft Academy 4-1 after 5 innings before tying it in the top of the 6th and scoring the winning run in the top of the 7th inning in Dover-Foxcroft Saturday afternoon, May 5th.

Alden Fournier picked up the win for the Trojans, throwing a complete 7 inning game. He allowed 4 runs, with just 1 of them earned. He struck out 7, walked 4 and allowed 5 hits.

Ryan Laffin pitched 6 innings for the Ponies, allowing 4 runs, all earned on 11 hits. He struck out 4 and walked 2. Levi Stedman absorbed the loss, pitching the 7th inning, giving up 1 earned run and walking 1.

For MDI Nick Stanley, Jacob Mitchell and Fin McConomy each had 2 singles. Alden Fournier, Sam Keblinsky, Andrew Kennedy, Matt Perconti and Liam Sullivan all had 1 single  a piece.  Jacob Mitchell had a stolen base and Nick Stanley was caught stealing.

For Foxcroft Academy Jeremy Richard, Jacob Olson, Matthew Spooner Ethan Curtis and Doug Kane each had a single. Ryan Vienneau had 2 stolen bases while Jacob Olson and Esau Olson each had a stolen base.

MDI is now 5-2 and plays at Washington Academy Tuesday, May 8th at 4:30 PM.

Foxcroft Academy is 1-4 and plays host to Nokomis on Tuesday, May 8th at 4:30 PM
