MDI JV Green Defeats John Bapst 47-28

The MDI JV Green Team defeated the John Bapst Freshmen Team on Wednesday, February 3rd at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor 47-28

MDI jumped out to a 9-0 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. Evan Ankrom had 4 points for the Trojans while Jack Hodgdon had 3 points and Bayley Baldridge had 2 points.

In the 2nd Quarter John Bapst outscored MDI 14-13 to cut MDI's lead to 22-14 at the end of the 1st Half. For the Crusaders Tristan Marin had 5 points, Jack Schuck had 3 accounts and Jack Derosier, Nathan Butler and Logun McMahon each chipped in with a bucket. For MDI, Harley Henderson drained 2 3-pointers for 6 points, Jack Hodgdon had 4 points and Evan Ankrom nailed a 3-pointer.

In the 3rd Quarter, MDI outscored the Crusaders 13-6 to take a 35-20 lead at the end of the 3rd Quarter. Evan Ankrom had 8 points to pace the Trojans. Sam Sinclair and Jameson Weir each had 2 points and Harley Henderson was 1-2 from the free throw line. For John Bapst, Sam Bay, Nathan Butler and Tristan Martin each had 2 points.

In the 4th Quarter, Jack Hodgdon paced MDI's scoring. He had 7 points. Joey Wellman-Clouse had a 3-pointer and Alex Yeadon had 2 points. For the Crusaders, Nathan Butler had 4 points, Jack Schuck had 2 points and Jack Derosier and Bryce Basso each were 1-2 from the free throw line.

MDI was led by Evan Ankrom with 15 points while Jack Hodgdon had 14 points. The Trojans were 5-8 from the free throw line.

John Bapst was led by Nathan Butler with 8 points and Tristan Martin had 7 points. The Crusaders were 4-12 from the free throw line
