
MDI Hospital Offers Free Walks in the Park Mondays and Wednesdays in June
MDI Hospital's walking program is designed for pleasure or fitness. The goal of the program is to offer a sale and enjoyable activity for everyone. MDI Hospital reminds you that if you are not currently exercising you should consult with your health care provider before starting any exercise program.
The walks begin at 8 a.m... In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be determined by 7:00 a.m. and program participants will be notified via email.

Remember to wear appropriate shoes, dress in layers and you may wish to bring water, snacks, bug-spray and a camera.
Here are the scheduled walks.
- Monday, June 2 - Hadlock Brook Loop. Meet at the Brown Mountain Gate house parking area, Route 198 just before Northeast Harbor. 3.9 miles
- Wednesday, June 4 - Sieur de Mont, Jesup Trail and Great Meadow Loop. Meet at the Sieur de Mont parking area. 3 miles
- Monday, June 9 - Jordan Stream. Park in the Jordan Pond overflow parking area (.2 miles north of the Jordan Pond House) 4.0 mile loop
- Wednesday, June 11 - Witch Hole Pond. Meet at the Duck Brook Bridge parking area 3.4 miles
- Monday, June 16 - Meet at the Wildwood Stables parking lot. Walk the first loop before the Day Mountain Loop. 3.2
- Wednesday, June 18 - Great Head towards Thunder Hole. Park in the Great Head parking area (at the end of Schooner Head Road on the left), out and back 4.0 miles.
- Monday, June 23 - Amphitheatre Loop. Meet in the Brown Mountain Gate House Parking Area on Route 198 Out and back for 4.5 miles
- Wednesday, June 25 - Seaside Path. Meet at the Seal Harbor parking lot across from the public beach. 4.0 miles
- Monday, June 30 - Little Long Pond. Meet at the upper lot (overflow lot beyond gate parking area) out and back 4.2 miles.
