MDI High School Accepting Nominations for Extracurricular Hall of Fame

MDI High School is accepting nominations for the next class to be inducted into the Extracurricular Hall of Fame. The induction will take place this Winter, sometime in December or January. The deadline for nominations is Friday October 18th.

If you have previously nominated someone, you don't need to do it again, as the Committee has the information on file

All former MDI High School, Bar Harbor High School, Mount Desert High School, Pemetic High School Students, Coaches, Advisors, Administrators and other contributors are eligible for selection

Criteria for Alumni

• Superior accomplishment in an activity in High School
• A graduate for at least 5 years before nomination
• Clearly demonstrated integrity, sportsmanship and citizenship

Criteria for  Advisor, Coaches, Administrators and Special Contributors

• Considering longevity and awards, significant contributions to an extra-curricular program at MDI High School.
• Significant contributions to the community  or professional organizations at the State and/or National levels
• Retirement from their position at MDI High School

Note - Teams are not eligible, as they are already recognized by banners and trophies.

Paper forms are available from the school or from Bunky Dow, the Athletic Director. The online nomination form may also be completed. All nominations must be returned to Bunky Dow, the Athletic Director.
